Steve Gioiosa has over twenty years experience in civil and environmental engineering and project management. He has successfully managed a thirty-person civil engineering division for a large
consulting engineering firm and is currently President and Senior Civil Engineer for SITEC. Steve's responsibilities as a project manager have included site designs for municipal facilities, shopping
centers, residential subdivisions, industrial parks and landfills, roadway and utility layouts, drainage system analysis/design and construction supervision.
As part of his extensive site design and permitting background, Steve has designed and analyzed numerous stormwater collection, treatment and control facilities.
Steve has a working knowledge of applicable federal, state and local environmental and land use regulations which affect large-scale development projects. He has a successful track record in working
with public agencies at all levels and in making public presentations or providing expert testimony. At the present time, Steve is an instructor at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth where he
teaches undergraduate courses in Land Survey and Site Planning. He is also on Bristol Community College's Engineering Department's curriculum advisory committee.
